Day 90

This might be a bit of an over-share, but the sheets on my bed are horrible! I only use the fitted sheet and not the top sheet because the top sheet bugs me. So my fitted sheet literally looks like it has been through a fight. It has a huge tear and it is discolored from the sun coming through my window onto it, it is just a mess. So last week I ordered new sheets!! Yay! I took the old sheet off the same day so I have been sleeping on top of my comforter with a smaller blanket over me, lol. Thank goodness it doesn't get that cold here.

But today, my sheets came in the mail!! and I LOVE them =)

My mom and I got up today and went to the movies! I think we are gonna start alternating between Disneyland and the movies on Tuesdays! lol. We went and saw The Runaways. Eh. I am not a fan of Kristen Stewart. At all. Her weirdness just bugs me. If it wasn't for Dakota Fanning's great acting, the movie would have been a big fat stink-a-roonie!!

Today was VIP night at work! (TGI Fridays). We have a DJ and the bartenders have a flaring competition. I worked in the afternoon so my co-worker Lily and I came back to my house to get ready to go back to work for the festivities. This was the first VIP night I have been to even though we have them all the time and I have worked with the company for 7 years! It was actually really fun! I took a ton of pictures and just had a really good time being able to hang out with my friends at nighttime because I only ever see them in the daytime! lol.

Tomorrow is Uncle Ronnie's birthday, but Sid had to go home tonight, so we went out to dinner tonight! We all went to a Mexican restaurant by my house called El Cholo. It was alright. I have eaten there before a long time ago and I remember liking it. I must not have ordered the same thing I did then because I did not like the tortilla soup and the salad I got wasn't very good either =( Oh well, you live and learn right?

Sid loves Hot Wheels. There is really no other way to describe it. It is love. They are the only thing he plays with and he probably owns a couple thousand of them. So today he got to go to Frank and Son's collectibles to pick out a couple more for the collection. They make him happy and we just love to see that kid happy! Here is one of the cars that he got:

We had some BBQ for dinner tonight and invited over some family and friends. After dinner we all just hung out for a little bit. I love days like this. I see most of my family all the time, but i never really get sick of them. It is always so much fun to have people around. Just laughing and having a good time!

A couple of days ago and family friend came over to visit and brought us a pineapple. It was quite ripe yet so we couldn't cut it just yet. But today was the day. There is nothing i love more than fresh pineapple. It is my favorite =)

Disneyland day =) A couple weeks ago my mom got a Disneyland pass again finally, so we had to go out to the parks to get her picture taken. It is the month of spring breaks right now so it was a pretty busy day. We were only there for a couple hours but we did manage to get me an iced vanilla latte, see captain EO, shop, eat some lunch, see Great Moments With Mr. Lincoln, head over to DCA, get fast passes for Tower Of Terror, see all there is to see in the animation building, ride Tower Of Terror (always a blast), shop some more and purchase the biggest chocolate and almond covered strawberry i have ever in my life seen. Seriously, i saw it in the case and thought to myself that i needed to buy it just to take a picture of me eating it!!

Mondays are always my least eventful days. No Chris around, no company coming over, nothing. Just work and then relaxing the rest of the day watching TV and scrapping. Today when i came home from work, i took a shower and started drying my hair. While i was doing this i was thinking about how i was a little annoyed with my bangs. So i cut them. I have had full bangs before, but i have never cut them myself. It is alot easier to cut your own bangs when they are side bangs, then it is when they are front bangs. They are definitely not as cute as they were before, but i still like them =)

80 days!! Woot!! Today was a typical lazy Sunday. My aunt went out and bought a couple new movies, including one that i have been DYING to see: Up In The Air. So we watched that today and i love it. It was funny and just an all around good movie. At least i think so =)

Every year a family friend of ours has a "Party In The Park" for all of his family and friends. Lots of food, lots of people and lots of Jungle Juice! lol. It is always a good time.

After the party, my cousins Nick and Veronika came back to the house to watch movies. They had never seen Forgetting Sarah Marshall (one of my favs) so we watched that first. Then after kinda hopping around from movie to movie on cable, we decided to rent a scary movie. Our TV has the internet on it so we can rent movies from Blockbuster straight onto the TV. I never watch scary movies. Not because they scare me, but because they don't scare me. What is the point of watching a scary movie if you are not gonna be scared? I always have really high hopes for scary movies. I go in really hoping to get scared and it never fails that i leave disappointed. So we rented the movie Paranormal Activity. In the right atmosphere (no lights or noise) i really think it had the potential to be scary! The ending was kinda dumb, but all in all, i actually kinda liked it.

Another Friday come and gone. We watched a few movies tonight. Chris fell asleep early on the couch so used this quiet time to get some scrapping done. The movie Jumper was playing on the TV and when it ended and the credits started to roll i glanced up as saw this:


Funny huh? I was like, what the? There is a stuntman somewhere with my BF's same name! lol. I know, it's not like it is an uncommon name or anything, it is just funny.

I have been bitching for quite some time now about wanting to go to Red lobster for dinner because they have their lobsterfest menu right now. Well, Chris finally gave in and took me out to an early evening dinner! I don't eat lobster often, but every once in a while i crave it! lol

Today was photo shoot day with my baby. She is very good at letting me take pictures of her. She also knows that if she is a good girl, she will get a treat for it. She lets me mold and shape her, and when she starts to get fussy, i say her name in a stern voice and she will look straight at the camera =) I had gotten most of the pictures that i wanted to get, and it was a good thing because when she is over it, she is OVER It! That is how i got this one:

Oh man. I worked today and got my nails done green for the holiday. I would have showed everyone my adorable nails, but then something else happened. I went to Target to look for some Easter props to use in the photo shoot I am doing on my puppy tomorrow and i found the most enormous box of Junior Mints i have ever seen!! Junior Mints are pretty dang close to my favorite candy and are one of those things that once i start eating them i just can't stop. So needless to say i ate the ENTIRE gigantic box of these chocolate/mint pieces of heaven. This is never a good idea. Ever. Lets just say that i was pretty sick the rest of the night.

We got up early this morning and went with the family over to IHOP for breakfast! I haven't been to IHOP or even out of bed early enough for breakfast in a LONG time, so it was really nice. I love me some pancakes, eggs, sausage and bacon =)

Since my uncle missed his favorite food holiday of Thanksgiving last year, my mom made a full-out Thanksgiving dinner today!! I LOVE Thanksgiving food. The stuffing, the potatoes, the yams....oh the yams!! It is all so yummy. So most of the family came over today to eat these bad boys:

I have Photoshop Elements 6. I was trying to organize my actions and styles (trying, being the key word here) today and something happened. I was trying to create the xml files for my actions (which i try to do every month or so) and of course i couldn't get it to work, as usual. I have been trying and trying since i got the damn program to get those things organized in the drop down menu, but i just cannot seem to get it to work for anything. So i went through, made all the xml files, erased some actions that i never use, and then it happened. I went to restart PSE, the database started rebuilding and then the whole thing crashed. I tried again and again and it kept on crashing. So what did i do you ask? I went into full-on panic mode. So Chris went on to the adobe website to see if he could figure out the problem (he knows nothing about mac computers, he is a PC guy) and asked why i don't have PSE 8. So i have DL'd the trial version of 8 for now to see how it goes. I like it so far!! I even tried to organize my actions and styles with the xml files and it freakin worked!!! So, when my trial is up i am probably gonna be purchasing it.

Went out to California Adventure today with cousin Barry, cousin Veronika, my mom and Chris. It was a pretty straight forward day. Went on Tower Of Terror twice, mom lost her sunglasses but lost and found had them, had cheeseburger sliders and i kicked everyone's ass at Toy Story Mania. You know, the usual =) After the park closed at 6, we ran over to Captain EO since Barry and Veronika don't remember it. My mom also upgraded her 2fer ticket to an annual pass!! So now i don't have to go on Tuesdays by myself all the time! So all in all, it was a pretty good day. And here is the picture to prove it, lol:

Monday. Nuff said. Monday's are usually when try to get everything organized as far as my scrapping responsibilities for the week. Monday's are also the day when i start to get overwhelmed by the amount of scrapping responsibilities i have for the week. So what did i do today? nothing to do with scrapping. lol. Instead, in the spirit of yesterdays Academy Awards, we watched The Hurt Locker. I can see why people liked it so much. I think it was really really good. Really slow, not much action, but really good still. I don't really think it was best picture good, but i was pleasantly surprised. So that would be my picture for today =)

It's Oscar Day!! In case you didn't read about my love for award shows back on Golden Globes Day, then i will give you a little recap. I LOVE award shows and for the big ones, my family and i make our predictions, put in a dollar and whoever gets the most right wins! It's fun and it gets everyone involved and it is probably one of the only times we all watch TV together! lol.

So, the rest of our Sunday was pretty boring. My uncle that is home from Thailand right now (he is going back April 6th) made us some Thai food on these weird little BBQ things he bought and we all ate out in the backyard. Then I went around and got everyone's Oscar predictions ready to go. My mom got me these awesome fill-in sheets with the categories already listed, so all you have to do is fill in your guess. This is much easier for me when i am trying to mark the right answers on people sheets. During the Golden Globes, each person had like 3 pages worth of predictions to make and when there are 6 of us playing that is a lot of papers to be going through quickly. Anyway, i LOVE the sheets =)

My aunt won the Golden Globes game, but the Oscar race was all ME!!! I won with a whopping 15 right. Actually it was pretty close because my mom had 14 right and my aunt 13 right, but none of that matters because i won! lol.

Today my mom, Chris and I got up bright and early to go see Alice in Wonderland!! I liked it. It was better than i thought it would be, so that is a plus. After we got home, the early morning/just had 3D glasses on for 2 hours migraine set in, so i was pretty much out of commission for the rest of the day =( I am not even sure what the rest of my family did the whole day because i slept through most of it, lol. It is pretty much gone as i write this though so hopefully i will be able to get some stuff done tomorrow.

I had taken a picture of the Alice in Wonderland poster at the movie theater for my picture today, but after i took it, Chris went and posed with a different movie thingy and it was hilarious!! So that is my picture today:

Every week when Friday rolls around i think to myself "what am i gonna do tonight?" Well, this Friday turned out like most. I did a speed scrap and sat on the computer the whole night. Chris sometimes gets irritated by my infatuation with my computer and scrapping addiction (he is VERY supportive, don't get me wrong), but i get the "pay attention to me" speech every once in awhile. Not tonight though, he got to the house and promptly fell asleep on the couch. At like 5pm. Till about 8pm. This is Friday evening/night:

Blah. Another boring day. I worked, came home, colored my mom's hair and then colored my own hair. I have had so much scrapping to do this last week that i have been working hard to get most of that done. But i am never too busy for a late night snack. That's for sure. While looking for a snack unsuccessfully, but uncle stuck some money in my face and told me he wanted some Jack In The Box tacos. I am always up for a kids cheeseburger, so off into the rain i went!

Today was another Disneyland day!! But, I went to California Adventure instead. I love DCA. Although with all the construction going on there right now, it is a little annoying. One of my favorite parts of the park is the Animation building. So much fun stuff to do and look at, i could and have spent hours in there. For some reason, i have yet to figure out, i have never seen Turtle Talk With Crush. It is one of the coolest and cutest things i have ever seen! So much fun. So that is my picture for today =)

Whoa! 60 days already. This year is flying by! Gotta a short and sweet one for ya today, literally =) Ronnie bugged and bugged until Chris went and got everyone the Hostess pies he was craving!
